Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Manual Tester with Networking expertise to join our Quality Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for validating enterprise-grade network security solutions and ensuring high-quality product releases across complex environments.

As a Software Quality Engineer focused on Release Testing, you will work on network protocol validation, cloud-based test environments, SIEM integrations, and end-to-end release verification. You will collaborate closely with globally distributed teams to deliver scalable, secure, and production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Release Validation

  • Drive release testing activities across multiple projects to ensure product stability, reliability, and overall quality.

Test Infrastructure Management

  • Build, maintain, and optimize scalable testing environments across on-premises, virtualized, and cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible and Terraform for environment setup and automation.

Network & Security Testing

  • Validate and analyze network traffic using protocols including TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, and SSL/TLS.
  • Design realistic test scenarios that simulate production environments and complex network behaviors.

SIEM Validation

  • Work with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Elastic, and Sentinel to verify security event logging, monitoring, and analytics functionality.

Collaboration & Defect Management

  • Partner with Development, Product Management, and global QA teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues efficiently.

Troubleshooting & Analysis

  • Perform detailed debugging across application, system, and network layers to diagnose defects and performance bottlenecks.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate documentation for test strategies, release readiness, infrastructure configurations, and quality metrics.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise

  • 5–10 years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Engineering, or SDET roles
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and Layer 2–7 protocols
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • SIEM tools: Splunk, Elastic, Sentinel
    • Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP
    • Infrastructure as Code: Ansible, Terraform
    • Linux administration (RHEL/Ubuntu)
    • Git version control workflows
    • Docker and Kubernetes

Networking & Security Knowledge

  • Strong expertise in TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, and SSL/TLS
  • Familiarity with encrypted traffic analysis and security validation
  • Exposure to tools such as Zeek, Suricata, and YARA
  • Experience with specialized networking hardware like Napatech NIC is an added advantage
